I only want to have one picture in my slideshow. How can I remove the arrows?

To remove < and > from slideshow, go to Themes > Template Editor.  Look under "Assets", and add this piece of code to the bottom of customise.css:

carousel-control {

display: none;

}

Voila.  The left and right arrows should now be gone.
