How do I manually add other translations?

Instead of having the translation as static text, use this instead (using the words Currency and Moneda for English and Spanish as an example):

{% assign: bl_word = 'Currency:|Moneda:' %}
{% include 'bl-translate' %}
{{ bl_word }}

Done! This will now show "Currency" in English mode, and "Moneda" in Spanish mode.  Tweak as needed.
